It's lovely to go to to different places and photograph scenes that you cant get locally. Here's one of them. Shot on on iPhone and processed in Adobe software. I'm rather happy with it.

Reading about your assignment in Italy instantly took me back to the summer I spent doing a research project in Florence. I remember the first morning when I stepped out of my tiny apartment and the city smelled of fresh espresso and rain on cobblestones. The rhythm of the tram, the clatter of shoes on the stone streets, and the way the Duomo’s dome glowed at sunset made every deadline feel almost poetic. I was juggling data collection with long lunches at a tiny trattoria where the owner would serve bruschetta with tomatoes still warm from the garden.
